| Hikes causing misses Meeko of course hikes his leg to do his business. This sometimes cause mistakes when he tries to use his pad. Has anyone thought of any ideas to help him keep his mark? He tries hard, but due to the hike and lean... sometimes misses the pad all together. |

| I was having that problem with Oscar too - he squats sometimes, hikes sometimes (never hikes when he's outside though which is weird). I did some rearranging in my apartment and in doing so, moved his pee pad away from anything that he could "lean to" and he hasn't missed since. I've also pulled the pad up so that it curves up the wall of his ex-pen a few inches.

| I've seen cute little fire hydrants in Jefferspet and FosterSmith catalogs that you put in the middle of the pee pad for them to hike on. Maybe this would help.

| Try giving him something to aim at. I always thought it would be way too cute to get a little fire hydrant and stick in the middle of the pee pad, but then of course you would have to wash the fire hydrant. So, what about a ball of paper, a pinecone, rock, etc. |
