| ![]() for the person who posted that they saw that it was for dogs as small as 12lbs... i saw something different when i bought mines..call innotek to find out for sure. toll free. i needed him not to bark when i was home and more importantly when i am NOT home..or just out of the room. they are not supposed to live in the collar and as i said he doesnt. he doesnt wear it often..just when i am anticipating a barking issue..like my bf had a company dinner we had to attend....so i put it on him just in case. if i wasnt allergic to citronella i would have gotten one of those collars..... there were so many posts about barking and people looking for solutions and no one had tried this yet..or something like that. i just wanted to share my experience. people know whats right for them and their dogs.

| ![]() We don't have one on Reagan, our yorkie, but one for our big dog. Someone asked about vibration. I believe that most will either vibrate or beep before a shock is given as a warning. Your dog will eventually associate the beep/vibration with the shock and barking and stop barking before even getting shocked. Also our dog is like njyorkieluvr's he hardly ever has to wear it. Once in a blue moon we will put it on him for a bit. Honestly the last time we put it on him was probably 4-5 months ago. In the beginning we would put it on him a bit more often though. But even now when we do put it on him he knows just to sopt barking, so he doesn't even get shocked.

| ![]() I used the shock collar on my Dudley. He would bark and scream non-stop for hours and the neighbors were getting ready to mob us. You know Yorkies are very smart. He wore the thing one day and knew what that thing did. He was about 9 months old at the time, and now that he is almost 3 years, all I have to do to get him to shut up is hold the collar where he can see it. I taught him to bark and then to be quiet when I say "That's enough." Most of the time I don't have a problem. He only weighed 2.7 pounds when I put it on him. Hope this information helps. I'm not telling you to use it all the time. I think you will find that he will learn very quickly.

| ![]() I used the Innotek small rechargable one. I put the short pegs on it and a 8 inch collar from petsmart that is like a nylon mesh. You just push the contacts through the mesh collar, screw on the pegs and strap it on. I never did have to recharge it.I think it cist me $99 and was worth every penny!!
