![]() When Keeley came to us at 9 weeks, he walked right over to the paper my husband had been reading and went to the bathroom on it. Just like the breeder had said, he was on the way to being paper trained. He will be a year on sat, and he has had hardly any problems since then.

![]() I think your breeder probably had the set up of an ex pen and the potty pads at one end.....and probably is trained to pads. Do not give her the run of the house as yet but try to give her a larger area....with a couple of potty pads and see if she uses them....if so, you are lucky! I purchase the cloth potty pads from e bay, they are actually used hospital pads for 3.95 each. Keep going in the right direction and you have it made! Congratulations.

![]() I was one of the lucky ones as well. I got Diesel at 9 weekes and he was trained to use a puppy pad. I never let him run around because he was just tooo little. But by the time he was 4.5- 5 months old he was housebroken. Of course we have had accidents. It was always my fault tho. I would get to cleaning and forget to take him out. He would drible and then come flying to me tail tucked. Like I said that was my fault. I was very lucky because I know people that have full grown dogs who aren't trained at all. My grandmothers dog is 2 and still goes in the house. That would drive me nuts. She is still trying to housetrain him tho.. He is getting better SLOWLY! Michelle
