| That sounds like a good suggestion, Kim. Judy, you could even do this just to "walk" Zoey over to her food bowl or to a treat on the floor.

| Leash Training I just finished a training course. My instructor had me use a wooden spoon with cheese wiz in it. I held the leash in one hand, the spoon in the other. I held the spoon in front of her face and said "heel" . I continued to walk with the spoon right in front of her and repeated "heel" It takes a lot of time and consistancy. Good luck- feel free to Email me with any questions!!

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I agree, just keep trying, keep practicing....it seems like both of my girls were like that at first, but all of sudden something just clicked and now they LOVE walks!!! We try to go for walks as often as we can, they just love to get out of the house and walk the neighborhood!! Just give her some time, lots of praise when she shows any improvement and hopefully she will begin to understand!!
