| Lollie and Lacie both used potty pads almost exclusively until Lollie was 7 and Lacie was 5. We lived on a horse farm with no fenced in yard and dangers all around - hawks, coyotes, and a few pretty big snakes that lived in the barn as rat control. The girls enjoyed lots of outside time but only on a harness/leash and did go potty outside when they felt the need, however washable potty pads was their primary toilet. After we sold the farm we moved into a neighborhood with a lovely fenced in yard. It didn't take long for the girls to figure out the "Outside Go Potty" game and now they are exclusively outside potty girls. |
