| doesn't go on his own Hello. So my yorkie is 15 weeks and i already put his food and water outside, i take him outside very regularly and praise him when he does his business but he never goes out on his own. He loves pooping in the living, dining and my mom's room, at night it's in mine. How do i let him go out on his own? We have two other dogs that are pottytrained and he sees where they do it but still prefers the house. We used get off on the floors but that only worked a day or two. It's really starting to suck coz i can't trust him at all in the house when I'm out. Any tips or advice? |

| Crate training is usually the best way to get them trained. It is very different in Your country and I understand your yard may be very safe , but he may be just feeling insecure about going out of the door by himself . Blessings. Xoxo

| He may be too young to go out on his own....knowing the feeling and the process to go through. Holding it us one thing, but then knowing to go out without you is another (I'm assuming that's what you mean) We just took our puppy out regularly, praised her like crazy etc., but it took a while for us to let us know when she wanted to go out. Now she talks to us, but she's 15 months. I bet if you or someone could take him out eventually he'll get it! |
