| Puppy got scared and peed in her crate :( A jar was broken in a different room from where my puppy stays to take a nap in her crate and I guess the noise was enough to give my puppy a good scare. I cleaned her crate as soon as I noticed she peed on her couch, and gave her a new one to sleep on. Should I be worried about her now thinking that it's okay to pee inside of her crate? Or should I think of this as a one-time incident that won't have future repercussions for her potty training? |

| My baby peed in her crate the second night we had her. She only peed in it one other time after that and we haven't had any issues with her peeing in her crate since. Plus she is fully potty trained now. |

| Yea, peeing where dogs are confined is normal at first while they are still being housebroken or when they just can't hold it anymore if they have to stay too long in the crate but peeing from fear from a sound they heard is another matter. Hopefully the stress-urinating - if that's what it was - won't recur.
