| Growling at 8 weeks.. When Bella plays, she will growl! If she is playing with a chew toy, she will just growl and sometimes will growl at me when I am holding her. She is always chewing on my hands since she is teething... I hope this does not mean that she will be aggressive.... I want her to be laid back! Hopefully, this is just normal for little puppies.... ???? |

| I have 6 week old pups and they've been growling for 3 weeks. You should get her a chew toy and not let her chew or bite your hand. When she tries, replace your hand with the toy. I don't think that growling means aggressive, it's just their language. I think its cute when my 4 little ones are playing and attacking each other (and mom, dad and out other boy) and growling. Mom puts them in their place if they get out of line. Dad and our other make just run from them lol.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yes the growling at this point is just play. Alway direct her biting to a toy or chew. She is just being a normal puppy. They play hard and sleep hard.

| Puppies growl at a very young age. It normal. My shih Tzu will growl at me when he wants me to play with him but im not paying attention to him. Its not an aggressive growl, just vocalization. Its just how he talks. He is an adult now and there is a big difference between when he is growling when he is mad verses just wanting attention and talking to me. Little Athena, my yorkie pup, growls when playing. |
