| ![]() Hi, Seeing people seem to be having the same difficulties as my wife and i with our 2 yorkies. we have 2, ony almost 2 years old and 1 nearly 1 and its the youngest that we are having most problems with, almost 90% of the time she pees and poops in the house is when my wife is out of the house, soon as my wife comes she hides immediately. Question is, she is in the garden numerous times in the day and will pee in her favourite spot, would you put the equivalent of a dog diaper on when my wife is out of the house as this is almost a regular occurrence Any help would be greatly appreciated |

| ![]() sounds like she gets anxious when your wife goes out. I think you need to work on keeping her calm. yorkietalkjilly has a whole scenario you can go through to train your dog not to be nervous when you leave. Its a process you wife will have to do. If your home when your wife goes out stay with her, tether her to you so you can watch her. If you see her starting to go say "uh uh" pick her up and bring her outside. I wouldn't go the diaper route yet. |
