I was actually thinking today that tethering him to me might be something good to try. He seems to be a rebel. Fits right in with my kids He will learn just like they did though that mommy doesn't let you get by with to much. He decided today that he was not going to go potty outside lol.

Hmmm wonder if that would work on kids LOL I joke I joke. Idk how it will work for me though because I also have the 15 month old that follows the dog wherever he goes. And puppy needs to be able to escape if needed.

I think yorkies are soo smart and figure out what they can get away with real fast. We have 4 dogs- 2- jack russel mixes 1- black lab. And farley. When hubby or I yell "kennels" everyone EXcept farley runs straight to their kennel. They were all trained the exact same way. But the only way i can get farley to i without carrying him to it, is to shake the treat bag, lol. He will sit perfectly still hoping you dont find him and put him in his kennel. Whats funny is once he is in there, he goes right to sleep. He would just prefer to see what he can get away with. Farley is 6 now, so i dont think i will be changing his ways anytime soon. We love him no matter what. And after 6 years, he still never listens to my husband, lol

He is very smart. His crate is in the laundry room. On day three when it came lunch time for the skin babies I went to put him up. He froze and the only way I could get him to come to me then to " get in bed" was cherries lol.

That is why it is so important to have a cage for you little guy (as I see you do) They need somewhere to go when things get hectic and to rest peacefully. Its important that they get adequate amount of rest and food for energy if not Hypoglycemic shock can set in.

| Great! Whew. Just wanted to make sure because I didn't know about a lot of foods and was saved only by the fact that I scared to stray from the diet the breeder outlined for us.

Me too . . I hate that! My dogs Only get the occ. pop corn or a peanut. For some reason they just love them. They know when its poppin in the microwave or when my DH open the peanut tin. Than its a limit of three or four each. They are not allowed in the kitchen when we are eating or when meals are being prepared. They tend to return several times when Im cooking but I shush them right back out. When we eat they lay at the door way taking inventory of the crumbs !!
