| Sleeping w Maddie in the bed She's been whining more at night in the crate lately. And, tonight she even sat in my bed for awhile, waiting for me to come to bed and hoping to stay and not get crated for the night. Somebody please remind me why its a bad idea to let them sleep in the bed...I'm about to crack!

| When they were little babies, I was fearful they would jump off the beed during the night and hurt themselves....so I got a ramp they they learned quickly how to navigate up and down....and I sleep with at least 5 Yorkies in my bed every night...... |

| My baby has slept with me since day 1 when I brought her home. I have to travel for work and it is so hard for me to get to sleep without her. I tell her it's time to go night night, pick her up and put her on the bed and she stays put until I get up the next morning. She has never jumped down, she has never done anything bad at all. I did have to go buy a king size bed as she seems to want to sleep sideways and when my bf is here there was simply not enough room. |

| I don't really let Mia sleep in bed with me. She is 12 weeks old. I do this because I don't want her to be completely dependent on me. I want her to learn that she needs her own space and I need mine. Although the past few nights she has been waking up at 3 am crying, probly because she needs to potty but I'm too lazy to let her out. So the past few nights I've put her in bed with me around 3 am and she stays put until I get up. She is so sweet and loves to cuddle but I can't have her always sleeping with me! It's really hard especially when they are so cute and small. |

| Snoopy sleeps in my gf's parents bed, under the sheets. That really freaks me out, for some reason. |

| Both of my small dogs sleep in my bed. I wouldn't have it any other way. If my big dog didn't sprawl out and need so much room he'd sleep in my bed, too. He sleeps on one of our couches instead. Anyways, I'd be so sad if Belle and Oliver weren't cuddled up with me every night!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Just wondering... Don't you have to worry about them potting in the bed? Our little girl still has to go potty about 4:00 am. I am afraid she will piddle in our bed. How old was your fur-kid when you could trust them to sleep in your bed without an accident?

| ZoE started sleeping in my bed at 6 weeks & 3 days of age. She's never piddled in there once! (although she has vomited in there a couple of times....yuck!) Her pads are in the hallway, right outside my room. If she needs to go in the night, she wakes me up and I let her out to go and then she runs right back to bed.

| That's one of the things I think about. Also, my bed is raised up so she would hurt herself if she fell off in the middle of the night.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Yes, my bed is real high also. I would love to have them sleep with us but our girl just doesn't get the fact that she needs to use the piddle pads yet. I am afraid I would wake up to little surprises in bed.
