Sleeping w Maddie in the bed

I sleep with three dogs and a dh I had little crates that they slept in the first month or so...often with me on the floor besides them

I have my bed on the floor for the past year or so. Bailey had a neck/back injury and he could not jump. I slept on the floor for about a month when he was on crate rest and meds... then we lowered the bed so it wasn't such a high jump. I tried and tried and he would/will not use the stairs

I was worried about Remy... she was so little. I think there has been many of a night I would wake up to my dh patting my face ... head etc to find Remy in the bed. She likes to go under the covers and sleep behind my knees. At first I worried but she is grown now and we havent had any problems...well sometime one of her furbrothers rolls over on her

I love sleeping with my pack.. except when it is hot

My Maddie loves daytime sleeptime too. She puts her paws on the sofa cushion begging to get lifted up (along with her bone) to fall asleep either on my lap or on a sofa cushion next to me.

But yeah, I've been sleeping with Maddie in the bed now for about a week, and it's been good so far. One night I did put her back in her crate and she whimpered, but fell asleep pretty quickly anyway. I hope she behaves as well when I have to kennel / have friends pet sit her when I take my ski trips.
