I went to PetsMart last night and I spoke with one of the trainers while I was there. She said it was best to do the puppy classes before 5 months old. So... I'm thinking I'm going to get Paisley enrolled. ![]() | |

| ![]() We are in week 2 of puppy obedience classes, the boys went yesterday for the first time. We had to wait until all of their shots, so they are now 5 months old, I think it is a good time for them. They are in a class of different sized dogs and I think that it is better to get them accoustemed to bigger dogs in a safe environment. I agree with statements regarding the experience of the trainer, but I feel it is worth the money and effort just for the socialization aspects. Just after one session my boys have learned to sit, come and lie down. One you learn a marker word and get the basics down, other tricks should be easier...we tried roll over, but that one isn't going over too well, probably too much too soon. Good luck and keep us posted! Tonya ![]() |
