I have Ahi gated in the kitchen when we aren't home and during part of my "work" hours.(I work from home) It's big enough for her to play, sleep, and potty in. She actually doesn't get to stay home by herself much. I think in all the time we had her only twice she stayed home by herself...for only a couple of hours too.
