New Obsessive Behavior My year and half old yorkie, Vada, has always been the more dominating and controlling of my 2 yorkies. She obsesses over her toys and is very possessive of them. Recently, she has started sitting in the kitchen and pressing her face as hard as she can into the crack under the cabinet - between the cabinet and the floor. She will bark at it, and sit there for hours if I let her. This is the cabinet with cleaning products in it and I am terrified that she will find a way to get in it one day. I have tried opening the cabinet to let her see nothing is in there, and to see what she might be getting so mad at. But she does nothing when the door is open. I thought it may just be the sound of the pipe, but she is acting so strange. She also ripped out a square of carpeting in the corner of the bedroom closest to the kitchen, for no apparent reason. Have any of your yorkies done this? How do I get her to stop obsessing over this cabinet?

Have you ever thought that maybe you have a mouse or something? Are you sure there is not something there?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE REPLIES, BUT I HAVE FOUND THE CULPRIT!! Actually, she found it. She was in the backyard and started going crazy at the crawl space entrance. There is a big, ugly possum under the house! We live in the city but it is close to a lot of restaurants and I guess this one found a way under. I knew we didn't have a mouse or anything because our cats didn't seem to notice anything (and trust me, if it were a mouse or bug inside they wouldn't let it last a second). I think that Vada could hear it moving under the house. Since she doesn't have free roam of all the rooms yet (new furniture and she is my trouble maker) that is probably the place that she could hear it the best. I have called animal control and they are going to take care of it in the morning.
