Actually, she found it. She was in the backyard and started going crazy at the crawl space entrance. There is a big, ugly possum under the house! We live in the city but it is close to a lot of restaurants and I guess this one found a way under.
I knew we didn't have a mouse or anything because our cats didn't seem to notice anything (and trust me, if it were a mouse or bug inside they wouldn't let it last a second). I think that Vada could hear it moving under the house. Since she doesn't have free roam of all the rooms yet (new furniture and she is my trouble maker) that is probably the place that she could hear it the best. I have called animal control and they are going to take care of it in the morning. |
She was just doing what a terrier is supposed to do, good girl! Obsession is the right word, a terrier isn't supposed to give up, they've got a job to do!
