| Have you tried the pee pad trays? They contain the leaks and spill-overs well. My dogs are weird and would not pee on the pad when I put it in the tray but I still thought it was a great idea! Better pads could also solve the problem -- RBD911 sells a good quality pad that does not leak, unless the pup pees right on the edge -- no help for that. He also sells teh washable pads that are even better at being leak-proof. Here is a link to one of his threads: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-shipping.html BTW he sells the pee pad holders/trays too!

| I use Out! brand from Walmart. If you don't have Walmart, try Kmart. Walgreens also carries a good, reasonably priced brand. Although these pads don't leak, I put them on a rubber mat that is slightly larger than the pad. Other people use a piece of linoleum.

| Put a small washable area rug under it. (The kind that have rubber backing.) Worked for me! My Bunster wouldn't go on the pad with the tray because she likes to circle around before she goes. Better the rug than the hardwood floors. I also have a big square of thick felted wool that I use when the rug is being washed. It works great, too. |

| Why pay more for leaky pads? Use the ones you have, but if you want to save money and cleaning time (and smell ), try another brand from anywhere other than the pet stores.

| I bought one of the large second nature litter boxes but instead of the doggie litter I put a weewee pad in it. I also use a diaper Genie for the used pads. |

| Try these ones....they don't leak. Pee Pads For Cheap - Great For Puppy Potty Training I used to use the Arm & Hammer ones (because I love that they smell good like baby powder) but they totally leak.

| Yes.... They fit really really well. I got the litter pan with the opening that is a bit wider, like on the side......and I get the 22" x 23" Clean Go Pet Puppy Pads from PPE Pet Supplies. I change the pad after every 2 - 3 tinkles and I flush any No. 2s.... Riley will also go outside...but I feel better knowing if he HAS to go, he can go. He has also been great, when I have taken him to my parents or a friends house. I show him where I put his pad.... and we haven't had any problems.... so far. 30 COUNT - Clean Go Pet Puppy Pads - Clean Go Pet™ Puppy Pads |
