| Try giving your pup a tshirt that you have worn so that it has your scent on it. Often this will have a calming, reassuring effect. Try leaving a radio or television on low. I play "Through a Dog's Ear" and other relaxing music for my boys. Try draining your pup's energy before you have to leave her. Play fetch or whatever you normally do to exercise her. Make sure she has plenty of safe toys and maybe a couple of safe treats for distraction. I understand that you cannot take your dog outside until she has her shots, but is she confined all of the time to one room? She might be getting anxious when you leave because her world is so small and you are a major part of that world. |

| Wow! I had never thought of that! Well the only reason I keep her in one room is because she is in the process of potty training and I had read that you should not let them out until they were 100% pad trained. What do you think?
