| Schedules Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and have been reading in various places about set schedules you all have for your little ones. I have a 10 week old puppy that I just brought home this past weekend and I'm trying to get in a routine with a good schedule. Thankfully I have the leisure of taking him to work if I want to or driving home a mile to let him out. He is in an ex-pen and is watched by my dad so he's supervised. I was just wondering if anyone could please share schedules that worked for you when your puppy was a baby or schedules you currently use?? Thanks SOO much!! |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I think potty schedules are the most important at first. I let mine out first thing in the morning, shortly after each feeding and right before bed. If they didn't go after a feeding, they returned to their xpen for an hour and then got another potty break. Walk schedules are also good to have. I found that if the pup knows that they can burn off their excess energy at certain times of day, they're less likely to get into trouble around the house. Good luck!
