| I used two spots and still do and Pixie is 8 months old. She now will go outside or use the pads. As long as you keep the pads in the same spot it should be fine. I wouldn't use more than 2 spots bc she will get use to it and you don't want a bunch of pads around the house. Are you using an ex-pen? That is what I did. I bought an ex-pen from pet smart Kennel-Aire Exercise Pens - Exercise Pens - Crates & Kennels - PetSmart I set i8t up the elongated way and put her comfy bed at one end and food, water in the middle and at the end where the gate was I put a pad tray.

| this is my personal exp only. We started out with 3 pee pads. One in his corner so to speak. its a sectioned off area in the living room between the couch and the chair in the corner its his sleeping area. The second by the front door where we take him in and out to potty and one in our family room where we spend alot of time. We have slowly started moving the pad from the family room to the front door to coax our little guy that if he must potty in the house the front door pad is the one to use. Each time we place a new pad down we move it a foot closer to our front door area. So far this is working well. Were almost to the other end of the dinning room. I think the biggest key point is, if they do potty off the pad you really need to clean that spot with something that removes the oder marking. Other wise it will not matter how many pads you do or dont use. They will go back to that spot over and over. |

| So far he follows the pad when we move it. The key is to keep it close to where it was and move it slowly over time. |
