Help! My yorkie, Sophie, just finished her 1st heat and now we are having some problems. She hasn't had a accident in the house in over a month and now all of the sudden she thinks she's not potty trained anymore. Even went so far as to pee on my bed. She's also barking and growling a lot more. I need her mainly to stop using the bathroom in my house. Any suggestions??

I am not sure why she is doing this. I would like to welcome you to YT and let you know someone should be on with advice and ideas of why this is happening after a heat.

Wow, well first welcome to YT. I'm not sure why she would do this unless it has to do with hormone changes. You might try going back to the basics, ie, confinement with pad when not with you, at least until she starts doing what she should at least this way theres no damage. Sorry I can't be more help, I'm no breeder, maybe one of the professionals on here can help shed some light on this problem.
