What unique trick does your yorkie do?

Thor is a natural army crawler. He likes nothing better than to pull himself down the length of my area rugs. Then he gets to the end, he turns around and heads right back, crawling all the way. It's pretty hilarious. I haven't put it on cue, though.

that was AWESOME! Uni can catch, but not like that!!! I have never been able to get her to catch a ball in mid air.

I have a smiler - I taught Chanel to smile when my husband was in the hospital and I was coming and going at all hours - now I can tell her to show me her smiley face and she cheeses it up so much - I can see every single tooth in her mouth - even after all these years I still laugh....and she knows right when to do it too when she does it on her own

Wow! Love Jonah!! I can't imagine Chloe ever doing that. Sometimes she will body block the ball to stop it rolling before it gets too far, but she never picks it up while it is even moving, let alone flying through the air!

Harley knows many many tricks and general commands. I think one of the most unique is "Praise Jesus".... this is when she's on her hind legs and pumps her front paws up in the air. LOL. I'll say, "lift em' high so He can see you" and she'll stretch them as far up as she can. It's the cutest things ever. One of my other favorites is "Do the Hop"...she goes up on two legs and will literally hop all the way around the living room until I say "Chill."

Chloe's "unique" tricks are:

1. Stick 'em up (front paws up in the air, balanced on hind legs) and Bang! (falls over from the first position and lays on her back, showing her belly)
2. Where's your "name of toy"? She knows flower (a PetStages toss ring toy), rabbit (Skinneez rabbit), ball, kong, and rope pretty reliably. She will also go looking for my husband if I ask her "Where's Jeremy?" We're trying to teach her to come find me as well but this is hard b/c my husband doesn't have as much time to work with her as I do and I can't very well give the command myself!
3. What have you got!? This one kind of happened by accident as she's always picking up small rocks from our driveway when we go potty then bringing them back in the house to play with. When we notice that she's got something in her mouth, we walk over with hands on hips and ask "What have you got!?" She rolls over on her back and looks all sweet and innocent (usually while also trying to hide the item under her tongue or by dropping it and laying her head on top of it).

The "Not too far" command sounds awesome!! Sure wish I could teach that one to Chlo!

I also have a "where is *name of toy*?" trick. We do Busy Bee, Skunk and Monkey Ball. When I ask her where it is, she will go over and tap it. Then I'll say "bring it here" and she will bring it over, I will then tap the floor and say "right here". She will put the toy wherever I tap.

I want to do "money" next but have her dig it out of a purse. She needs to start carrying her wieght around here... even if it is just 3 pounds.

We learned "stand up" last week.

So far we have sit, down, come, stay, roll over, circles, sit pretty (like a bunny), bang (your dead), leave it, drop, bed time, paw, high five, shake, wave and now stand up.

Right now we are working on staying from far away (20ft) and "greeting people" where she will sit when she wants to be pet.... well that and the potty struggle still *sigh*

We have a pond - and with a pond comes geese and then goose poop. What a nuisance!! So, whenever we see geese hanging around, we grab Bailey, lift her up so that she can see the geese - then put her down and watch 'er go.

She runs just as fast as she can, banks the pond dam like the Daytona 500- then chases and barks at the geese until they fly away!

if your having issues training your puppy or getting them to pay attention try using German commands it works great because its not something they hear daily

Sandy already know 'Where is (his toy name)?' He'll bring the toy to us. I recently bought him a new Kong. I'll take out his tricks and asking him, 'Bring me the Kong...' He'll go and bring the Kong, waiting for me to fill it with his tricks. It's so cute when he does his tricks.

Recently he started to scratch our legs when we're watching the telly. When we ask him, 'What is it, Sandy?' He'll go and bring his toy, drop it in front of us. We know he wants to play. We didn't teach him that though *lol*

Mabel has an uncanny ability to PEE on absolutely every flat surface in my home! Amazing. Oh, i guess thats not very unique or uncommon...almost every yorkie on here can do that one! Never mind! But my mom had a pekinese who when you said "where's your wee wee ?"he would flip over on his back and show you! He would stay that way until you said "good wee wee!"
