| Help! poop problem!! We are potty training our puppy, who is almost 13 weeks, on the potty pads and he's doing good peeing on them, but he hardly ever will poop on it. He begins running around when he needs to go and he acts as though he's scared to go in front of us or scared to go on the pad, but he will poop on the floor right next to the pad. We have moved his bed and food away from the designated potty area to see if it will help, and yet still no success! Anyone have any ideas or tips to help us??

| This may sound gross, but maybe you can try taking a little piece of poo and putting it on the pad. Maybe he will get the idea!

| When he starts going around like that sit him on the pad and make him stay there. then once he goes leave it there awhile. He will catch on.Good Luck. |

| Thunder used to hide when he pooped as well. We realized that it was because we would get mad at him for not going on the pad itself. If you scold him for pooing on the edge of the pad, he will likely not want you to see him poo and will go hide. Now, Thunder poos right on the pad. It took him a couple of weeks, but he got it. I would take his poo and put it on the pad, let him smell it, and then take it off. Don't forget that they are puppies, and their aim is not always accurate either. Good luck. |
