| Cloth pee-pad vs carpet? Sorry, I just had to laugh when I pictured what your little one looked like with shredded pee-pad or tape all over. I have a question for those who use the cloth pee-pads. Does you baby ever get mixed up about the carpet in your house. Do they ever think the carpet or rugs are pee-pads too since you're using cloth pads?

| stella is 10 months old. from everyone I spoke to they said their puppy stopped shredding the puppy pads by then but I guess Stella is just going to be stubborn. I cant wait till she is a year. People say that is when you notice a difference and they calm down. Quote:

| Potty Patch Have you tried the Potty Patch???? It is made of soft artificial grass with a collection tray that holds a gallon of liquid. You just empty it. It also attracts the dog to it and there is no odor. My Yorkies use it when I go out and - no mess! I come home and all is well! It only took a little training and some treats to get them to use it. You can get them just about anywhere now! LB, Calleigh & Patti |

| [QUOTE=NikkiSpice2;3020443]HEHE. I come home to 'chomps' taken out of the ends of the puppy pad. LindaBedilia...I have looked into that and it is the one thing I have never tried. I got frustrated trying to find the best one. Some are expensive and others not so much. I have also heard mixed reviews. Stella is mainly trained to go outside so I thought this would be good for her. I am just afraid she will try to eat the grass or lay on it. I also do not want to change the tray underneath. I have visions of it slopping over the sides - ewww. Is it big enough that you can put a puppy pad in the tray and then just wash that along with the grass? I was also afraid it would smell b/c my apartment is very small. It's not like I can put it in the laundry room (since I do not have one).[/QUOTE Hi Whatever they make the Potty Patch with keeps it odor free!. I guess you could put a pee pee pad under the grass too, I haven't had to do that. My Calleigh used to chew everything too. I would come home some days and find toilet paper all over the floor and pee pee pads in shreds that's why I use either Kitty Litter or the Potty Patch. They are down to $39.00 here in Canada. You would probably be able to get one at any pet store now. They come in small, medium and large here. Hope you find a solution. You are probably tired when you get home and don't need the mess. Calleigh stopped chewing things when she was a year old. She even chewed some of my music books - so a lot of them bring back memories of her puppy hood. LB |

| I have a friend who bought one and she did not like having to drag it outside to clean it. Said it was disgusting, which is what I really would think. I can just see what could get stuck in that "grass".
