☺Farrah☺ Donating Member | Farrah does not sleep with me/us. A few reasons. 1. I think I might roll on her. 2. She is not 100% good at letting me know she has to potty. and 3. My bedroom is upstairs and I'm afraid she might fall down the stairs or through the spindles of the railing. Better safe than sorry.

| Spike has never slept with me. He has a bed in the room with me, but he is absolutely, 100% not allowed on the bed. It is my unbreakable rule for a number of reasons: 1) He is pee pad trained. Since my bed is quite high, he would not be able to get down and use his pad in the night. 2) I didn't want to roll over and crush him! 3) I didn't want him interrupting my sleep. 4) I find it's easier when I go away and leave him in the care of others. He can take the same bed with him that he sleeps in all the time. |

| Both of my babies sleep with us. They are both housebroken and sleep through the night. Jada the princess has her own pillow and sleeps on it and Bogie snuggles up next to me. I wouldn't have it any other way.

| Well...Yogi and Bogus have slept with us since they were babies and when little Suki came they continued with her until last summer and we all decided we didn't sleep as well together. I started putting the baby gate up with them on the other side and they were miserably forced to sleep in their own beds...BUT, Dad is out of town on Monday thru Wed, every week for the last year.... SO they get special privledges on those nights cause we have more room!! They know which nights they can and when he's home they quietly go to their beds...funny, because it didn't even have anything to do with him, but he caught all the blame They still love him!! I have stairs on the side of our bed too for them if they need to get up and go potty.

| Jazmine is 7 months old and 99% potty trained - she has been sleeping with me since I got her at 5 months old - she has never wet the bed - she has never wet her crate - I do control feed and control water after 9 pm at night - she gets a bedtime drink around 9pm - and when I go to bed around 10:00 - 11:00 I take her out - she sleeps all night and usually wakes me up walking around on the bed at 5:30 am - I can take her out let her pee and then take her back to bed and she will stay there with me as long as I stay in bed - I am new to all of this and have used many of the same tactics with my yorkie baby as I used with my children - seems to be working for both of us I absolutely love sleeping with her and I think it has contributed a ton to our bonding as loves for life - |

| Welcome !!! Quote:
My I take out at about 9-930pm, and they do drink during the night, no food and they use the wee pad at night and when I get up at 6-630am, they go out w/me. The older they get the longer they will learn to hold it, U should look into the wee pads they're the best thing to have for those raining days or when u r too busy to get home on time for a walk. Congrats !! and Enjoy. bark@ulater!!!!!! manina, miley, and max | |

| No I wouldnt recommend u letting your puppy sleep with you..i've done made that mistake before when i first got my pup. If i was you i would stick to crate training..it really helps then when she is a lil older and is housebroken..of course u can let your baby sleep in bed with you..(My baby Remy Sleeps with me every night now that he is house broken and he never had a accident in bed yet )..so just be patient and wait till she a little older =] |

| My baby sleeps with me, she wakes up once in a while at night to go pee and since im a light sleeper i get up when she does. Other than that she goes very well sleeping through the night without peeing. |

| My baby sleeps with me. If he has to go potty he licks my face. He is 6 months old and has not had an accident in my bed. When I first got him, I started bringing him out every few hours in the middle of the night. They say a puppy can hold its potty for as many hours in months he is. I also put a bell on his so I hear him moving around in the middle of the night. Last edited by MeredithDreyer; 08-07-2010 at 06:42 PM. |

| Dinky is almost 7 months old; he is not fully trained, but doing well. He sleeps in his crate, and it works for me. He's happy enough because he has his own special sleep crate in the bedroom so he can be close. I know he is safe and won't fall or even get into any one thing or another that I might accidently not get off the floor. I think it's okay to let them sleep with you if it's what you want. It would be difficult to make him go back to the crate once he got used to sleeping in the bed, so I'm sticking with this for now. |
