Nope, I sleep with them in "their" bed. ;):D |

Nope.. all of my dogs sleep in thier kennels at night. Lexee my toy poodle on occasion gets to sleep in the bed, but I worry so much about her getting sqooshed that I dont generally let her. Tucker was crate trained from the very beginning and wont sleep on the bed, he walks into his "bed" everynight when we go to bed. |
Maddie had a larger wire type crate for during the day and started sleeping with me at night. After a couple of times of her waking and jumping off the bed at night before I could catch her, I brought her plastic travel crate and put her in it at night on top of my bed. She is now 2 and when I say bed time, she runs to my bed, up the stairs and into her crate. She will actually whine at me until I close the door. She has a big soft bed with a big fluffy blanket and absolutely loves it in there. Occasionally she will whine and I will open the door and she gets out and snuggles up next to me. But as soon as I move to get comfortable, she huffs and gets up and goes back to her bed. If she is tired, she will just go by herself and put herself to bed. Sometimes I go to my room to take a shower and she's already put herself to bed. She gets very fussy if I don't stay in the bedroom but go back into the family room to watch tv. |
Sherman sleeps with us in bed and Bella did for a bit when she was a pup but now sleeps under the bed unless she is REALLY cold. Both have since they were little pups and we have NEVER had an acccident of any kind. |
We have had our pups for 3 1/2 years (rosco) & 1 1/2 (lulu) and we crated trained them both. They sleep with us unless they are sick, they have accidents once in a while ( we have a new baby girl) and they do it to get our attention. a new baby in the house is definitely a new thing for them, as long as we pay enough attention to them they are fine. so my suggestion is crate train first then its up to you if you want to have your new pup sleep with you or not. |
Tito sleeps with me when I forget to put him down. I dont really mind it, when I move he moves. I have my little corner and he has the whole bed for him self. He waits till morning to go pee peez. If he has got to go or drink. He wakes me up. He just curles up in right up in my arm pit and falls asleep. Whatta little buger. If under the covers he will dig his way in. and If Im not under the covers me scratchs my sides to put him under. Whatta spoiled little dog, I love him to death so it doesnt matter :animal36 |
All 6 of mine sleep with me once they are housebroken!!! |
my sophie sleeps with me ! she is house trained she all so haves steps to get off and on the bed :D |
YEP, mine has been sleeping with us since she was a baby and she is 4 now! She also took over my side of the bed.....hubby doesn't mind though, he said it just brings us closer together:D:D |
My mini dachshund sleeps with me in the big bed...Sophie, my foster Yorkie, sleeps in a crate that is elevated so she can see us. She seems happy to sleep in the crate. I worry that I'll hurt her if she sleeps with me; she's a small Yorkie at only 2.14 lbs! |
babes sleep great with mom & dad amazing that even as lil puppies, they sleep all night ... what a wonderful way to wake up, too. They seem happy during the day - when I'm busy - for short spurts ... in their little individual crates, but we all sleep best cuddled up together at night. These pups have added so much love to our lives. |

[Side note: Every dog is different....for example my Bella had horrible, TERRIBLE separation anxiety right from the very beginning!! She HATED to not be wherever I was. Occasionally, she'd voluntarily crawl into her crate to nap when she was sleepy, but for the most part mommy's lap was prime real estate! My aunt's Yorkie, however, LOVED being in her crate when she was a puppy! She kept it in her bedroom at all times (which was right off the living room so not far), but she'd voluntarily go in to conk out all the time! P.S. My Bella is 4.5 lbs as an adult, and my aunt's Emma is ~3 lbs as an adult, so loving/hating their crate seems to be independent of size.] |

Anyway my Melba sleeps with me. I love to cuddle her. |
My dogs sleep in crates happily not with us it makes me wonder what kind of love lives people can have with an audience...lol  |
Mine sleep with me, Chloe has been sleeping in a crate since her surgery and I miss her, :( |
Yes, ours sleep with us. They are very comfortable. Can't say the same is true for us! |
Yes, Remy sleeps with us And DH originally said, absolutely, postively no way. Well, guess who has to be the last one to cuddle him, rub his tummy and tuck him under the blankets now???:p Its not ME! |
Sometimes doggies might feel that they need someone to cuddle them at night because they are afraid that they might wake up alone:( sad.... |
my rule was as long as the could get up and down on their own (doggie steps) in case the had to go the were welcome. Since I have gotten my dogs from Sherri Clark - they all came housebroken so I wasnt worried as long as they could get to the pad. |
Mine doesn't poop at night ;) |
I love having our girls sleep in the bed with us, but not all of the time, lol. We don't have a big enough bed for all four of us, but hey, as long as they're happy. ;) BTW, our Maya always sleeps in between my boyfriend's legs, lol. Our maltese usually jumps off the bed in the middle of the night to sleep on her pillow. She must be thinking what I'm thinking, "There's just not enough room in this bed to sleep comfortably.". ha |
we had Ruby in a crate in our room til she was about 8 months old-basically when I know she would not pee on our bed! since then she has been on our bed at night but I also have a dog bed in our room and sometimes she will jump down and get in her bed for half the night and vice versa. |
Jenna and Tara sleep with me. Jess and Amy sleep with my girls. The boys sleep in the puppy room and the puppies sleep in a open crate connected to an xpen. I always keep my puppies in the xpen at night until they are potty trained good. |
Our yorkie watches tv with us in bed, but when we turn off the lights she goes to her bed on the floor |
Pixie is 6 months old and pad trained. We let her start sleeping in the bed when she was fully trained. When she has to pee she will get up and go to her pad. I would Never put a pad on the bed that is just asking for trouble in my opinion. You might wake up to something not pretty;) |
Yes, both my yorkies sleep with us. Cuvee loves to burrow down under the covers and Henry likes to sleep on top of the covers. I would never put pee pads in bed - gross. We have carpeted steps for Henry and Cuvee to use to get out of bed, run into the laundry room and use their pee pads at night! |
Ummmm My husband and I sleep in THEIR bed!!! LOL You would think it was theirs' and we were the guests with the room they allow us!!:D |
