| Ruger ate my remote The other day Ruger got hold of my remote control, got it apart and ate the battery door. He's 1-year-old and eats a lot of stuff, but I give him plenty of better things to chew on, cows ears, chew toys, Kongs, but he continues to eat things that I need. Any way to break him of this? |

| omg I just watched an amazing Cesar episode on a small dog that did that. It was awesome, however, I don't feel I'm qualified to try and relay any advice he provided on that... but I think the jist of it was to teach the dog, that it's ok to sniff, but then look for your for guidance, and when they look at you, you give a treat to reward them for not eating the bad stuff. That was a bit of a crappy explanation. I think it's basically trying to show them there are better treats to eat than the bad stuff like your remote. Good luck.

| My dog used to like to get the remote and chew on it. So I would put Bitter Apple on it so he wouldn't chew on it. |

| He is still very young. My practice was always to put things out of reach until they got past the chewing stage.
