That was a bit of a crappy explanation. I think it's basically trying to show them there are better treats to eat than the bad stuff like your remote.

Well, I guess this is a good idea if you catch them in the act. Usually I'm not home or on another floor at the time. I may have to put the little guy back in the crate until this goes away. When I'm around he's a perfect angel.
