I agree with this, and do not believe giving them a suitable chew toy/stick is reinforcing their biting. They are teething, and need to learn what is appropriate to chew on.

I know this yorkie puppy "dance" very well and it only lasts until they grow out of it, then you know the little squirt isn't a puppy any more. So enjoy it whie it lasts! I have something else going on with my 12 week old puppy. She sucks my fingers as if she is suckling. I'm wondering if she was taken away from her mommy too young and whether she's really the age they told me she was. She's eating solid foods like pellets and happy to eat Hill's puppy tinned food, so her tummy seems fine. I just don't know about this suckling thing - she's even tried it out on my older yorkie and got put in her place, particularlyif she nips Gabs on the nipple!
