| Marley is Amazing - Potty Pad Training So, I just have to brag! Marley is around 5-6 weeks old (rescued from a puppy mill and just weaned to hard food). He sleeps in bed with me because I can't bear the thought of locking him up when that is the way his little life started out. Every night we crawl into bed and he sleeps all curled up in some old towels just in case he has an accident. Then, every 3-4 hours I get woken up by little whines and licks to my ears. I scoop him up, put him on his pad, and he pees! We haven't had any big accidents at all! He is so good! My chihuahua would just pee all over the bed and I'd wake up to wet spots. Little Marley actually WAKES me up! So Smart! Of course, poos are a different story! I don't expect anything from him and he already is doing so well. When he starts sniffing around the apartment I just scoop him up and take him to the pad and eventually he poops - but he likes to wander off the pad. Oh well! Just thought I'd share. I've had my fair share of housebreaking woes (3 rescued dogs that were never housebroken, peeing ALL over my apartment - yep). Good luck, ya'll! Heidi |

| That is awesome that Marley is doing so well!! I have a 7 month old Yorkie who was really easy to pee pad train too, and I love to tell people that he knows exactly where to go when he needs to potty. My fiance' and I just got a little 12 week old Maltese as a little companion for our yorkie...and she also sleeps with us and does what Marley does. She will lick and paw at my head at night when she has to go. It's amazing what these little furbabies are capable of. Keep up the great work with Marley! |

Yorkie Talker | Hi Marley, my little romeo is almost 6months. I got him from a personal breeder and he is doing great on his potty training. He is so smart and I am so proud of him.I am training him to go potty in the house because he is certainly a house dog.I take him out for walks but he does his business on potty pads. so far so good...
