Default Marley is Amazing - Potty Pad Training

So, I just have to brag!

Marley is around 5-6 weeks old (rescued from a puppy mill and just weaned to hard food). He sleeps in bed with me because I can't bear the thought of locking him up when that is the way his little life started out. Every night we crawl into bed and he sleeps all curled up in some old towels just in case he has an accident. Then, every 3-4 hours I get woken up by little whines and licks to my ears. I scoop him up, put him on his pad, and he pees! We haven't had any big accidents at all! He is so good! My chihuahua would just pee all over the bed and I'd wake up to wet spots. Little Marley actually WAKES me up! So Smart!

Of course, poos are a different story! I don't expect anything from him and he already is doing so well. When he starts sniffing around the apartment I just scoop him up and take him to the pad and eventually he poops - but he likes to wander off the pad. Oh well!

Just thought I'd share. I've had my fair share of housebreaking woes (3 rescued dogs that were never housebroken, peeing ALL over my apartment - yep). Good luck, ya'll!
