| ![]() Just wondering for anybody that trains there puppy on a pee pad has this problem. Our dogs are usally good at walking around previous pee, but the odd time they will step directly in the piss, and get it on their feet. I change the pads several times a day, but they do go on it 2 to 3 times before I change it. Any suggestions? |

| ![]() If they use a pee pad they are going to step in it sometimes that is just one of the downfalls of using pee pads. I change them after they have used it twice. You can take baby wipes to their feet to clean them

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() You can switch to washable, they are much more absorbent and the surface seems relatively dry.

Lulu is constantly stepping in her pee on the pads and this is what I do. I keep a box of wipes next to her X-pen and everytime I go to get her out I just wipe off all of her paws with a wipe.

| ![]() I've found it effective with my two males to give them a "target" to pee against. I use one extra large pee pad on bottom, and a small one on top (in center). On the small one I place a plastic 2 liter bottle filled with pebbles. They pee against the bottle, and if they step in it, they walk onto the larger pee pad. Less of a mess on the floor. After they pee, I fold the pee pad over itself so they always have clean spot, and don't step in pee next time. It's worked pretty well so far. ![]()

| ![]() We use the PetGold pee pads with the holder. These are super absorbent!!! They dry almost immediately!! We have not had a problem with him stepping on it. It's already dry to the touch within a few minutes. Highly recommended. |

| ![]() You can buy the super absorbant pads like the previous poster suggested. They really do soak it down quickly. I also keep wipes near the pads to just wipe her feet if I see her do it , I change the pads often .
