| Raley has been wearing clothes since the day after I got him. It was in January and in the 20's here. He wears t-shirts, polo's, pajamas and has an overcoat. We keep the heat down in our house because we prefer the house not so warm and stuffy. Fortunately for me he LOVES his clothes!

| Ruger never wears "clothes," but it is pretty cold and snowy here so I have some coats for him. They are like quilted blankets that wrap over his back and are secured with Velcro at his neck and around his middle, so getting them on and off is no problem. One has a slit you can push the ring on his collar through, and the other has a built-in ring on the coat. When he was a puppy I had a couple of great looking sweaters for him, but he didn't appreciate getting in and out of them. Actually, he seems to love the snow, and I will often take him out without anything. If he starts to shiver I will hold him and bring him in, but at least I have an idea at that temperature he definitely needs a coat. Personally I think a lot of people put coats on their dogs more for a fashion statement than warmth. I will admit that little Ruger the pup looked really cute in that sweater. Check out his other photos. Last edited by ziggy925; 12-04-2010 at 07:44 PM. |

If you keep your Yorkie trimmed, he's going to get cold. Also keep in mind how low they are to the ground. | |

| I live in Greece so,I never dress my babies unless some winter nights with cold air or when its rain I dress them with a raincoat . They are ok with that because they don't care about anything when we go out !!Its running time Yorkies have sooo nice hair ,don't put them clothes if it isn't cold )

| Well, I'm in the other sunny state, Florida. Ally gets cold super fast. She is 3lbs 2oz at almost 2 years. (Her birthday is the last day of the year!!!) Tia is 5lbs 3oz at almost 1 year. (Her birthday is three weeks later.) Tia doesn't shiver like Ally. Mine do wear sweaters inside and outside during the winter, with coats on when they go outside in the super cold. This past winter was just awful for us. They go naked the rest of the year. |

| Gilmore happily wears coats outside for his walks since in is cold here. Since his surgery he is shivering a lot so I got some sweaters for him and he is not shaking as much. I think I going to look for some pjs for him with legs since his back half was shaved for his surgery. Skittles my other dog shakes all the time and my house always seems to be cold no matter how much we turn up the heat. I bought him a sweater but he flipped out when I put it out him. I will try again because I know he would be much warmer in one but he is 4 and I don't know if it's too late to get him used to wearing one. |

| Max and Teddy wear coats outside when the temperature drops below 30 degrees. Otherwise, no clothes. Too much of a hassle with their hair. |

| Here in Wv it's been pretty cold (20degrees or less). So Silver wears sweaters inside and if we are going somewhere. And since it was her first snow we wanted her to see it so we put her pajamas on and her jacket but I think it was still to cold because she was shaking within 5minutes so we just took her in.
