| ![]() Mine only gets A little ice cream. thats all the people food the get. You could try putting on a long lead and when he goes for the cows give a tug and tell him no. We had to do this for our horses. Muffy would get all excited when they would run so I tried this and after a few weeks she gave up on the horses. We also gave her a treat when she wasnt going after the horses. I hope this helped.

My kids would chase the horses if they had the chance -- another risky business. My best suggestion would be to not let your Jack outside off leash until he has learned some basic obedience commands including SIT, STAY, COME, DOWN. Once he learns these commands you should be able to recall, and/or have him sit/stay, etc. Remember learning a command means that he will follow the command without fail whenever asked. | |

| ![]() make him a dog yard so he cannot get out and run after the cows.. that is a scary thought of what cows could do if they wanted to...I am a farmers daughter and lived on a farm when I was young.. that way a yard can control him for you... Not sure if that helped or not.. but dogs yards are a good safety feature... anne |
