| I need reassurance Maya had been doing so well, and I so thought she HAD IT completely. Then last night I was on the phone with her Godmother, and right before my eyes she spraddles her little legs and pees on the couch. ON THE COUCH!!!!!!!!!!! Not the floor, the rug, but my good couch!!!!! WHY WHY WHY....she could have asked to go out, and why my couch....we take two steps forward and 3 steps back

| Coral is the same way so I feel your frustration. Tonight she peed on the bed AND the couch. How old is Maya?

| Patience is great but so hard to have. Keep up the good work and maybe restrict her to a certain area of your home for a little while? |

Oh my......about three weeks ago I was changing my bed and Maya was in the room and she peed on my comforter I had on the floor during the changing of the bed. I was furious. Oh she is 7 months.

Thanks yeah I am back to keeping a close eye on her and she's mostly in the kitchen or the room I am currently in. One thing I can't say for sure was if she tried to signal me before doing what she did because I was distracted by the phone call. I am trying to give her every benefit of the doubt here.

| I have two and it takes a while before they are fully potty trained. Seven months is still very young, and sometimes accidents still happen. Mine were fully trained ( no accidents) by approximately a year. ~Tammy |

| Some one was reading my mind when they started this thread. Monday was a bad bad bad potty training day for me and Sophie. I was so frustrated that I finally put her in her crate for about 10 minutes while I cleaned up the last "accident". She was doing so good and it was almost like she wanted to show me she was not all grown up yet. I love my baby but there are times when she just pushes. Tuesday was so much better, we started over with giving her a treat when she went outside. Thank you all for the words of wisdom to the original poster, I hope you all don't mind but I borrowed them.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hon it's o.k. It's the nature of the beast!!!! I too have had where I though Aiden was finally on the road to potty training heaven, and then he pisses on my slippers, while staring me in the face. Take a deep breath and know the day will come. I try asnd remember that my skin kids did the same thing. They regress and have accidents. You're doing the best you can. Give yourself credit for doing the best you can!!!!! You're not alone!!!

| Well I did well, I yelled at her to stop which cut her off in mid pee (very funny), then I put her outside (calmly, I promise yall I DID NOT throw her out the door. LOL), cleaned up the couch and never mentioned it again.
