| OK I am into my first 3 full days of retirment, and being home with Maya all day has turned the key. She has always let me know when she needs to go out, and if I go out to put out trash or something she runs out and takes advantage of the opportunity. So at night, or when I leave home, she uses the paper and pee pads in her area, and while I am home, she is a good girl, and all is right with the world over here for now. Thanks again YT. Mika comes in a month....then I will need help with integrating these two together.

| There are going to be mistakes ... You can't let your guard down esp when they are still puppies Best not to let her up on the couch unless she's right next to you or on your lap Good rule to live by even if she's well trained

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | it took me a whole month to train Prada to the wee pads, she was 8 weeks when I got her, she peed on her bed once and that was it.. now with Chanel was a bit more since when we got her she was already 5 months old, she Peed in my bed once and that was it, never in the couch, because as soon as I saw any sign I would put them on the wee pad fast I had a wee pad hanging from the back pocket of my jeans all day..LOL now I have to narrow the number of pads I have on the floor from 3 to 1, That is going to be a challenge. hugs,at 7 months she still young, just look for signs and put her on the Pad even if you have to pick her up on middle pee and put her on the pad.. hugs, cArmen in nj |
