| Barking and Biting issues Barking and Biting issues with my yorkie toy new puppy shes is now going on almost 10 weeks. I know that she is really young so I do not yell or scream at here at all other then from screams of pain at times lol. If someone can give me some advice on how to make my baby a little more comfortable in the sense of helping her not bite so much anymore that would be a God send. Thanks in advance. |

| We have all been through this!!! when she bites you, you need to holler ouch or no bite really loud & hopefully she'll get the point. It took a long time for my little girl to stop doing this, she has been very spoiled- but they do stop it!!! congrats on your new baby & welcome to yt there is alot of great advice to receive here.

| Loud voices are scarry to them that is forsure Quote:
My littlest one is going through the biting stage. They need to chew, dental chews will help, the dog toys that are ropes with knots in them are great to help. I often grab her mouth when they try to bit me and say no sternly and as I have a hold of their mouths then they can't bite, and they are trying to pull away. I try to do this gently but with enough force they can't get away until they know the behavior is an unwanted one. | |

| I am also currently going through this. What I've found is that when I take Sylar out to go potty after he's done I run around the yard with him. We run back and forth and then he's too tired to be energetic. I just did that today actually and it works. I also just got a spray bottle so I can squirt water on him when he's being a bad boy. |
