| Litterbox ? and more My Lucky is reliably trained to go outside using Tell Bell. I want to get him an X-Pen, but will he need a way to potty in there? I was thinking of litter box training him, but I don't want to undo anything he has learned with the bell. Also, as my husband is away with the Army I am living with my parents again. They won't be too pleased with him going on the carpet in my room. Do they make bottoms for the pens? How big are these pens as my whole world is in this space right now? I just want him to have more room than his crate (which am so lucky to say he has never gone to the bathroom in once and slept all the way through the very first night @ 6weeks!). TIA! |

| Hi! I am brand new to the site and this is actually my first post. I have a 12 week old named Jayda that I leave in an X-Pen while I am at work. I purchased a clear shower liner from Target ($5.99), cleaned it and placed it on the floor under the pen. It works perfectly. If she makes a "mistake" it is a quick and easy clean up. I don't know about the other part because I haven't trained her to go outside yet, sorry! |

| We do not have an xpen, our dogs get the bathroom to roam free in when we are gone. We have litter trained them though, and they will go to the litterbox or outside with no problems.

| Litter? When I use the paper pellet "litter" Bennett finds it very tasty! Do you have an alternative to paper litter. I tried regular (not clumping) cat litter and it was a "no-go"! Any suggestions? |

| We use the Second nature paper pellets. When buddy was a pup he thought they were tasty too. I just kept discouraging him and I would lightly spray them with bitter apple so they would taste bad.

| I recommend a wizdog - INDOOR DOG POTTY for: dog house training, housebreaking puppies, dog and puppy training. It's a place for pee pads or newspapers that have a grid on top so they don't make the pads/paper a toy. It works for our 3 quite well and I use the X-pen (with two extensions for the 3 yorkies. Hope this helps. |

| I highly recommend gettong UGODOG box. We have been trying to train Lily for a few months to go outside. I bought this and recieved about a week ago and she is already learning fast! She is going poo on it by herself without us telling her. This morning she went pee on it by herself. I wish we would have ordered this when we brought her home. It's great for me too cause I hate going outside every two hours! What I have been doing is laying a clean pee pad on the tray under the grids every morning. I will leave the same pad all day so she can smell where she needs to go (a clean pad is put in every night cause she will go on it in the morning). Poo I just take off grid from tray and drop poo in toilet. You do not have to buys pee pads, you can also use newpapers which I will do when I run out of pads. HINT: If you feed a high quality food the poo will not be mushy and you can just drop in toilet with none left on the grates to wipe off. The Wizdog is the same concept but reviews said UGODOG is better. I bought mine on Amazon, just do a search. Good luck

| Thanks! Thanks so much. It's an Ex-Pen - as in exercise pen - which I already knew. I just didn't link the X-pen and Ex-pen. Thanks again |
