I recommend a wizdog - INDOOR DOG POTTY for: dog house training, housebreaking puppies, dog and puppy training. It's a place for pee pads or newspapers that have a grid on top so they don't make the pads/paper a toy.
It works for our 3 quite well and I use the X-pen (with two extensions for the 3 yorkies.
