i think it depends on how PUPPY PROOF your home is... IMO my baby is weeweepad trained he is completely trustworthy in that area. he has free roam of the living room, the hallway and the bathroom all a very big space when no one is home ... i dont let him go to the inner hallway and the bedrooms b/c they arent puppy proofed yet. i have 2 gates up... i gated the kitchen and then theone to block him from entering the bedrooms and inner hallway i totally agree with u they need space to roam but jsut be careful and aware of where hes going to be when ur not there ... rrosenberry: thats great that he goes in there himself, but question.. how long do u leave him in there?

| i'm having the same problem with Maisy. I let her roam the house when i am home most of the time. she is super hyper at first but after she checks everything out she calms down. |
