he has free roam of the living room, the hallway and the bathroom all a very big space when no one is home ... i dont let him go to the inner hallway and the bedrooms b/c they arent puppy proofed yet. i have 2 gates up... i gated the kitchen and then theone to block him from entering the bedrooms and inner hallway

i totally agree with u they need space to roam but jsut be careful and aware of where hes going to be when ur not there ...

thats great that he goes in there himself, but question.. how long do u leave him in there?
he goes to work with me everyday,, so its only if I go to the store, or we go to dinner, of shopping,,, NEVER more than 4 hours,, I just wont do it, I have about 3x , when I know Im only going to be gone for short times,,, let him loose, with hallways blocked off with gates,,just to see how he does.. And when I leave hes at the sliding door,, and when I come back he's at the sliding door... then once I went to the grocery store,, about 1 hour, and I come back and he's in his cage.... SO who knows??!! What do ya think? ( BUt -no accidents)
