| Potty Training Questions Hello Everyone! I am going overboard on trying to figure out everything there is to know to train my new furbaby! If all goes well, I will have him this Tuesday and he will be 12wks. I want to litter train him and crate train him for sleeping at night. So, my plan was to gate off my kitchen which will have the litter box, his crate, toys, food and water, etc. Although, I am off work all summer, so I'll have to make errand runs to get him used to being in that area. So, when I go to bed, I will want to put his crate in my bedroom but what does he do if he needs to relieve himself? Should I move the litter box into my bedroom at night and leave his crate unlocked, hoping he will use it? The only tiled floor in my condo is in the kitchen, even my bathroom is carpeted (not my doing)! I have also ordered wee wraps from Lorene and wonder how to incorporate those into all of these potty training methods? THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN OFFER! I'm over-nesting at this point...my family thinks I'm going a bit nutz. |

| When We Brought Brooklyn Home We Set Up An Xpen For Her With Potty Pads, Her Bed, Toys, Etc. (much The Same As Your Kitchen Area, I Guess. At Night She Sleeps In Her Kennel In Our Room. The First Few Weeks She Would Cry In The Night And I Would Get Up And Bring Her Down To The Pen And Put Her On Her Paper And Tell Her To Go Potty. She Did...i Did The Good Potty Praise And Brought Her Back Up To Her Kennel And We Finished Our Nights Sleep!! That Is How It Worked For Us! Good Luck!
