Pet-a-Potty I bought the Pet-a-potty system because we are still putting in our landscaping here and I have a small fenced in courtyard where I let yorkies out to pee. Ava came so well trained from the breeder that I am trying to keep her that way. She loves the pet-a-potty and she goes on it almost immediately when I put her there. It was a little pricey but a lot less than new carpet!!!

It is actually made of PVC plastic and it has a pull out tray underneath to clean that you cover with newspaper and the sod is "dirtless" as they say so it lasts a long time. I think it was around $250 with shipping. I got it from a girl in my meetup group who owns glampaws.com. I go t the "original wwhich is bigger. They have a smaller version that is a little less money I think.

How do you like your pet-a-potty? I am interested in either purchasing a petapotty or making something similar to it. I was wondering how they are on smell and what the clean up is like (does the pan need to be dumped and wiped out every day). I'd also like to know often the grass needs to be watered and cut and how long a piece of sod lasts with however many doggies you have using it. Thanks.

I would say the sod lasts about a month to 6 weeks and it never needs cutting. I clean mine once a week and there is no smell that I notice but mine is outside on a covered patio. I pick the poop up every day or every time they go usually. I love mine.

OOoo! I LOVE that! Anyone have a link where I can get one? I live in an apartment, would having one on the balcony be okay do you think? Is there a smaller one that would fit one a small balcony? Thanks for sharing Kim! (You're little girl is sooo cute buy the way!)
