| I also have a 4mo. old and he will eat anything and he especially loves paper for some reason. We live in a small apartment so it's hard sometimes to keep stuff of the floor because we're running out of space to put stuff. But...things like wires, even some furniture, basically whatever you dont want chewed on..spray with a bitter spray. You can get it just about anywhere. I got mine at Petsmart and its EXCELLENT! I accidently got some on my finger and didn't know it and touched my mouth...it tasted awful! Chewie wont even go near stuff I've sprayed. This is the brand: by Pet Botanics: Indoor Bitter End "The Trainers Friend". Here's the link to what the bottle looks like on Petsmart. Bitter End Pet Repellent - Training & Behavior - PetSmart Ignore the 1 star rating by the one customer. Somehow his dog actualy liked the taste of the spray, but honestly I don't see how anything would like its taste...it's an extremely bitter metallic blah taste but completely safe for the dog...LOL... Good luck!

| Dont worry he will grow out of it Try the spray it worked for us although he did love tissues for ages but even that has calmed down it just takes time.

| At 4months old you really can't trust them to not chew up anything they can get the *teeth* on. It is really best to make sure that your puppy is either in a crate, expen or playpen of some sort when you can't keep your eye on him. And really not just for your sanity but for his own safety.

| My little guy has the same problem. My trainer said that you should only have one or two of his toys out at a time. When he gets something he shouldn't, tell him no and take it away and give him one of his toys. Also, teaching him to "leave it" helps tons when he's got something he shouldn't or if you see him trying to get something he shouldn't. Good Luck |

| My baby Charlie never grew out of it and he is 16 months old, I've tried sprays even tried to take him to behavior class but nothing. So far he has messed up atleast $1000 worth of my high heals, atleast 3 different pairs (I have expensive taste in shoes, lol) he ate 3 of my headsets to my xbox, (I'm a gamer) and I don't know how many cell phone chargers I've had to buy but nothing I do not even scold him works, I just deal with it, he is my baby I can't part with him no matter how many of my shoes he destroys. |
