You know I've even tried this, but honestly my dog is far from dumb, he knows not to do stuff when I'm around, it seems like he waits for me to leave a room to attack my shoes or anything else I've left out that he knows is not a toy for him, and I know he knows he is doing something bad because lets say I leave my bedroom and I left a pair of my high heals on the floor and he starts to chew it, when I come back into the room he runs away from the shoe and hides under my bed until he knows I'm not mad anymore, he is extra smart.
