Bellybands Hey YT. got a couple of questions. Boos 8 months now, and lately hes been 'marking up' in doors. He's actually been really bad lately, chewing wires and ect ect. but anyways, i was thinkin about getting some bellybands for him, but what if im at work for 7 hours during the day, is he suppose to hold his pee for 7 hours till i get home? He's been pad trained for months now, but since a week ago, he'll start peeing on the walls and stuff. even when theres a pee pad right in front of him. i caught him 3 times already, once yesterday, and twice today, and already punished him. i just dont know what to do. the pee pad is just right infront of him!

Poise pads are at the grocery store. You could go to petco or petsmart to see about belly bands or diapers. I have a friend that makes belly bands for boys, in the future if you wish to order one that is a little more flashy than just plain white, her website is fufufashions.com.

If you are there to watch him I guess you could monitor him with it off. But if you are not going to be there or can't watch him closely I would leave the band on. You can get 72 of the Poise pads in the incontinence section at walmart for $12 to $13. They are like maxi pads but much, much more absorbent. When I used maxi pads they leaked and made the belly band wet. The Poise pads can hold it all without leaking.

it sounds like he is marking his territory. my older dog does this. it is not because he is not potty trained, it is because he is not neutered. it is very annoying. i am getting belly bands for him. a quick solution would be to neuter him... they stop this terriorial marking significantly after they are neutered. everyone tells me this, even the vet. i think i am going to do it.
