| You'll need to go back to the basics and confine her to a very small area with the pee pad, and then go one room at a time. Remember every room of the house is different to them, just because they are trained in one room, does not mean they are trained in every room. During the training period, I keep pee pads in every room that they have access to. |

| I have an extra large dog crate (for a rottweiler or lab) and I put a bed on one side and a pee pad in the other... While I was training them, I kept them in there while I was gone.. I know a lot of people frown on them going in their crates, but I don't want them to have to always be there while I'm gone... Now, my two yorkie girls don't go in the crate anymore, I've eliminated it all together for them (when I'm gone, etc).. My biewer girl is staying in the crate for now.. I'll gradually start letting her sleep outside of it and eventually take it away all together.. They do love the crate as a safe haven.. So when my biewer girl is done being in the crate, I'll just pull out the small one I have and put it up with just a bed in it.. They're all using pads but I want to make sure my biewer girl has it down before I take it out of the crate. I was persistant about getting them to go on pee pads because my last yorkie girl was stolen out of my yard and I didn't want them to have to go outside to go to the bathroom.. This makes me feel more comfortable in knowing they don't need outside.

| I don't have any problem with doggies being put in crates. At least you know they are safe when you leave. I thought quite a few members support confining when not supervising. I always put my furbabies in x-pens when I leave. Too worried about them getting in trouble when they're all together. Joanne |

| Its not the crate issue.. Its putting pee pads in the crate.. Basically supporting them to go "where they sleep".. But an extra large crate is really no different than a big ex-pen .. (thats the way I see it)..

| I put pads in my x large crate for my yorkie in my basement but she only stays in there long enough to go potty then I take her out right away. I dont let her stay in there or sleep at all. she sleeps in an x small crate which is in my bedroom far away from the other x large crate, she doesnt have accidents in her x small crate she already knows the difference. when she is roaming the house I have pads on the floor she always pees on the pads but sometimes she will poo somewhere else but I know the spot. |

| Potty pad spray? Did you use the spray that attracts them to the pads? |

| No I dont have the spray that attracts them too the pads I will look for that. I only have the pads that supposed to have the scent that attracts the dogs. if she uses the bathroom in the house somewhere else I have the spray that gets rid of the odor. |
