OKay thank you. i started blocking off his crate in the back. i didnt realize how much room he had in there lol. but he is doing much better. has not pottied it in !! yay !! I have another question how do yall keep your yorkies interrested in eating ?? Cash gets side tracked & doesnt focus when eating unless i sit right beside him but, half the time that doesnt work either. Its like everything else is more interresting than eating. I leave his food down till he eats all of it but, i dunno i cant keep him interrested long enough to eat lol.

| ![]() You need to put his food down for 20 minutes and allow him to eat what he wants distracted or not. Then after 20-25 minutes, pick it up, even if he's not finished. Don't give him more food until his next feeding schedule. He will get hungry enough to concentrate on eating at some point. He will also come to rely on knowing that the food is only down for a short time and he has to eat or he gets nothing more until next feeding. You need to use the 20 minute put-down/pick-up at every feeding. Not only will this get him more scheduled to have him potty trained, but you are establishing control and therefore, he will pay more attention to you when you train him for behavioral issues.
