| ![]() I've used both. Started out with disposable ones....but, when the new pups started shredding them and I had to pull fuzz out of their nostrils with tweezers I switched to the washable ones. I wash them in cold water with detergent and biz.....spray and wash to get poop stains out. About every fourth washing I'll use bleach (bleach does tend to rot out the plastic backing) just to disinfect.......throw them in the dryer.....it is recommended not to use fabric softner. http://www.personallypaws.com/catalog/

| ![]() Here is a link to one of Little Bits sales so that you can see some of the fabrics. They're no longer on sale, but still a GREAT deal!! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93415

| ![]() I usually put down a new pad every day. I have enough that I wash when I get enough for a load. Thanks for the positive reviews from you who have used the ones I make.

I just fold them in fourths with the dirty side in and stack them next to my washer. They don't stink and aren't messy that way. My laundry area is in the garage, but even if it was inside it wouldn't be bad. You could also put them in a garbage bag until time to wash if it really bothered you.

| ![]() I put mine in a mesh laundry bag. They don't smell and are super absorbent, so I don't make a mess when moving them. And I wash mine separately, so I wash one every two days so I always have a clean one and a dirty one.

| ![]() I take mine up as soon as Lady uses it. I can smell it and she won't use a dirty one. Little diva! ![]() I keep mine in a diaper pail that I spray with disinfectant every time I wash them. I also use Clorox when I wash them. If you don't, it doesn't get all the smell out. I really like Pooch Pads. I tried Pish Pads when I first started using them, but ended up throwing them out after only a couple of months. The plastic backing came off and they really got smelly because you aren't supposed to bleach them. I've still got part of a roll here that I have no idea what to do with. |

| ![]() I'd wash them by themselves. A few people on here really find them useful, because their babies can't chew them up.
