Question on washable pee pads Is it better to use these rather than the disposables? Do the babies like to use these better? Or do people generally just use them because its cheaper than buying the throw away kind? I am thinking of purchasing, but I am not sure if they will be worth it. How do you wash them? Honestly I dont feel its very sanitary to put them in the washer i use for my clothes, do you rinse them first? |
OMG...i would like to know the same thing...i'm going broke buying all those pee pads! I also would like to try the washable kind. |
i like them because I have six adults and usually a litter of puppies. The paper ones to them are just play things. I do feel that the paper ones are easier to potty train young puppies on. I do not rinse mine. There is no diaper pail smell at all and I do wash them in my washer with a ton of BLEACH. Then when I get them out, I run a rinse cycle with nothing but soap and bleach in the washer. |
I've been using the washables for a few months now, and love them! I've got 5 babies and use 2 everyday. I wash them 4 at a time in hot water and put on the deck to dry, or dry them on low heat with no dryer sheet. Lil Bit, Nancy, does a great job on them and I would highly recommend her. :D |
